David K. Olive is an associate and member of the Transactional and Estate Planning Practice Groups of Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell & Brown, P.C. He concentrates his practice in the areas of tax planning, corporate transactions, employee benefits, estate planning, and business succession planning for family-owned businesses.
Mr. Olive received both his undergraduate and law degrees from The University of Missouri in 2010 and 2013, respectively. While in law school, he was a founding member of the Tax Law Society at The University of Missouri School of Law. In 2014, Mr. Olive received his LL.M. in Taxation from Washington University in St. Louis, where he earned the CALI Excellence Award for highest grades earned in Federal Tax Procedure & Corporate Taxation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Olive was a Trust Officer at two national trust companies, where he handled complex issues related to trust and estate settlement administration.
Mr. Olive is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association.
