We want our clients and partners to be aware that our firm continues to constantly monitor the growing response to the coronavirus pandemic. As of this moment, our office remains open for business by appointment only during the hours of 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. Like many offices, we are taking significant precautions to help prevent the spread of this virus to our workforce, clients, and families.
While we continue to remain ready and available to assist our clients in their legal needs during this time (especially those whose businesses or families have been directly affected by the coronavirus), we are encouraging our clients and partners to schedule phone or zoom conferences with their attorneys rather than in-person meetings when possible.
If a member of CECB is sick, he/she will not be at the office, and we ask for the same consideration from our clients and partners. Anyone entering CECB will be required to have their temperature taken and answer some health screening questions before being admitted past the breezeway of the building. Anyone that is sick, showing signs of being sick, or a temperature above 100.1 will not be permitted to enter. All those entering will be required to wear a mask by City of Springfield Order.
If you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a mask, we will make arrangements to meet with you remotely.
Anyone entering will be asked to use hand sanitizer and social distance. All notaries and witnesses will be kept at a safe distance and a separate notary page used for signatures. Clients will be asked to use hand sanitizer before handling documents and will be sent home with the CECB logo pen they used for signing. Following each meeting the conference rooms will be thoroughly cleaned.
Be assured that the delivery of legal services in accord with health guidelines and orders will remain our priority during this pandemic.
