Rodney H. Nichols to Serve on the Greene County Library Board of Trustees
Springfield, Mo. – Rodney H. Nichols, a shareholder of Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell & Brown, P.C. (CECB”), has been appointed by the Greene County Commissioners to serve as a Member of the Greene County Library Board of Trustees for 2004-2005. As one of nine Board Members, and one of the four Members chosen to represent the county, Mr. Nichols will be participating in the management and development of the Greene County libraries.
In addition to his recent appointment, Mr. Nichols is a member of the Bank Counsel Section of the Missouri Banker’s Association, the Civil Practice and Procedure Committee of the Missouri Bar, and currently serves as the Programs Chair of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association. Mr. Nichols also devotes a significant amount of time to the community as a member of the Board of Directors for the Developmental Center of the Ozarks and the Ozark Greenways Land Trust Committee.
Mr. Nichols received his bachelor’s degree from Southwest Missouri State University in 1992 and his law degree in 1996 from the University of Tulsa College of Law. He is a graduate of Leadership Springfield, Class XVI. Mr. Nichols concentrates his law practice in the areas of commercial, real estate and probate litigation, as well as lender/banking litigation and creditor’s rights.
